Our Story
SLVolunteer was born from a simple yet powerful belief: that international visitors to Sri Lanka can experience its rich culture while making a genuine, lasting contribution to local communities.
Since 2011, we have been the bridge between passionate volunteers from around the world and meaningful projects on the ground — whether that's teaching children in rural schools, caring for stray animals, empowering women entrepreneurs, or sharing the beauty of Sri Lanka with the world.
